In line with the requirements of the "Work Safety Month" initiative, HuaYi Pharmaceutical recently organized fire safety training and drill activities at its Shanghai Road Campus and Shenyang Road Campus respectively. The events were designed to effectively enhance employees' fire safety awareness and initial fire response capabilities, and were carried out through a combination of theoretical training and hands-on fire extinguishing practice. Employees from both campuses participated actively, and the expected outcomes were achieved.

01 Theoretical Training First – Reinforcing Safety Awareness

Prior to the drills, professional fire safety instructors delivered case-based lectures tailored to the characteristics of pharmaceutical enterprises, focusing on key areas such as chemical management and electrical fire prevention. In-depth analyses were provided on fire prevention essentials and evacuation escape techniques, helping employees further consolidate their foundational knowledge of fire safety.

02 Practical Drills – Mastering Fire Extinguishing Skills

Following the training sessions, employees from both campuses gathered in open areas at the logistics department entrances to carry out hands-on fire extinguisher drills. The instructors demonstrated the proper operation of dry powder extinguishers and CO₂ extinguishers, emphasizing the "Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep" procedure, and guided employees through batch-by-batch practical training using oil-pan fire simulations. Through the "real-fire" experience, each employee had the opportunity to practice operation firsthand, effectively mastering the correct use of fire extinguishers and boosting their confidence and competence in handling incipient-stage fires.

03 Strengthening Prevention Through Drills – Securing the Safety Baseline

Fire safety hinges on proactive prevention and, more importantly, on diligent implementation. HuaYi Pharmaceutical will continue to intensify its safety training and hazard inspection efforts, consistently improving the safety management mechanisms across both campuses, so as to safeguard the company's safe production operations and the life and health of all employees.
